We booked this last minute whilst up in the area at a lodge. As we are beginners we both did the 30 minute hack. From arrival to finish, we were treated perfectly. Sasha took the reins of our horses and off we went. We had a couple of trots on the journey too which was fun, the scenery is lovely. Everything was explained clearly to us so no need to worry about never having done this before. Thank you all.

We have been coming to Matchmoor for a while and I can say all the instructors are absolutely amazing. They teach and walk and check understanding whilst kids are riding. The crew is absolutely amazing. My little girl in weeks learnt so much and I am amazed about the confidence and support we got. I highly recommend this place.

We were 2 groups, one with beginners and one with more intermediate riders and they made sure to put us on suitable horses and provided gear so we didn’t need to worry about bringing that as well. For my group with the intermediate riders we had Leah as a guide on a 1hr hack and it was a nice hack with some trotting and a nice calm atmosphere! We had a great time 😊 Our other group had a 30min hack and they were also very pleased, being able to do some trotting even as beginners! Communication was great as well, preparing us properly before our arrival so everything went smoothly! Would defininitely recommend for someone looking for a nice time with horses ❤️
