What diners say
My first experience with a tasting menu where I have loved EVERYTHING! Often with tasting menus I’ve found that 2 or 3 dishes stand out and the rest are not bad or even boring. My partner and I were wowed by almost every dish. The tomato and elderflower palate cleanser was so rich and so fresh at the same time. We absolutely loved the smoked haddock porridge; we couldn’t believe how well whisky went with mussels. A mind blowing combination! The toasted pine nuts with the caramelised cream took it to a whole new level. And the sorrel and whey dish was so fresh and flavourful. I could gush about them all… The service was perfect; engaged and welcoming but not intense. They were also fantastic at modifying for a gluten free diet (rice koji instead of barley, gluten free bread, gluten free singing hinnies, gluten free crumpet). We were gutted to hear that they were closing in 3 weeks time (we dined end of May 2026). But they are planning to open a new restaurant in September so we will be keeping an eye out. The only negative was that it was a very hot day and it was quite hot inside the restaurant. No fault on the staff or the food. Thank you so very much for such a delicious and memorable meal!

Loved everything about this place. Relaxed and calm atmosphere, spacious dining means you can really have your own personal moments. Fantastic tasting menu led by a team who are clearly passionate about what they do. Came as a birthday treat and I’m very glad we chose to come here! For an 11 course tasting menu I think it’s very good value for money especially given their ethos and sourcing. Fantastic wine, cider and non alcoholic pairings. It was a pleasure to interact with all of the team working throughout giving thorough introductions to all of the dishes. Suitably full also. Really loved the variance in textures throughout everything had such a great mouth feel. Thank you guys! Particularly to Daniel and Sam who were so welcoming and engaging we really appreciate your warm hospitality 🙏🏻

Only 10 days into 2026 and there’s an early contender for the best lunch of the year. We’d had three excellent food boxes from The Water House Project during Covid, however for some reason had never made it there to eat in person. And this place is truly awesome… Dish after dish of innovative food, highly technical, beautifully presented and above all so, so tasty. Each course was superb, the scallop and beetroot real standouts for me amongst many. Great produce coupled with a sustainability ethos made this a seriously fantastic meal. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and informative and the dining room bright and airy. A cool vibe and decent music made this the complete experience. Not too sure where the Michelin inspectors have been as this is easily at one star level. Surely this year…? Twenty minutes walk from home, we’ve already booked a return visit to enjoy this menu again. And I’m sure WHP will become a regular favourite in the months to come.

Wow what an incredible place! One of the top dining experiences I've had in London. The food is top notch, not only incredibly tasty but creative too. There's care in everything they do, the presentation of the food, the drink pairing (especially the non alcoholic ones!), the decoration (which feels cozy and homey) and the overall atmosphere. Highly recommend it for special occasions, it's really worth it. Thanks to the staff for all their hard work in providing a great experience.
