About Best Western Greater London Hotel
Ilford, on the eastern edge of Greater London, makes a practical base for anyone wanting to reach central London or Canary Wharf without paying city-centre prices. Best Western Greater London Hotel sits close to the station, putting those onward journeys within easy reach, and the surrounding streets offer pubs, restaurants and other places to eat close by.
The hotel has 41 rooms across four floors, served by a lift, with family and accessible rooms available alongside standard en-suite doubles. Rooms come with drinks provided and free WiFi, and breakfast is served on site. Practical extras include luggage storage and a laundry service, useful for anyone breaking up a longer trip, while business services and meeting rooms make the hotel workable for those travelling for work.
There's no parking available at the property, so it suits guests arriving by train or public transport rather than by car. With entertainment, bars and restaurants nearby, and the station close at hand for links into London, it works well as a simple, well-placed overnight stop rather than a destination in itself.
