Proclaimed to have a car park, this doesn't exist. Room not very clean, window looks like it hasn't been cleaned in year, dirty bathroom, floor could do with a mopping , WiFi not working 😕 . It cheap but not an excuse for lack of cleaning.

Stopped in this hotel a few times, it's clean, beds are comfy and good hot water. The staff are great and are very helpful 😀

The room was clean, apart from the bathroom where there was soap left in the shower. When we complained that it hadn’t been cleaned, the cleaner came and said the soap had just leaked after cleaning. But you could see it was clearly dry as if it hadn’t been cleaned off, and funny how it didn’t leak for the rest of our stay. Breakfast is almost £10 each, thankfully weatherspoons was down the road where we spent £4 for the same thing. From 10pm onwards we could hear doors slamming, people talking loudly and running around. We also got woken up at 5:50 am! To doors slamming shut and what sounded like children running above our room. I would definitely not stay here again

Stayed here for 1 night with my mum and child. We had different rooms. 101 and 104. Around 11-12 all the banging doors started with drunk people coming back. And had to listen to a domestic happening in the room next door to me, 103. Repeated doors slamming over and over as they were arguing and going back and forth throughout the hotel. I messaged my mum who was up the hall and she was upset about this also. I rang the hotel phone number 4 times, it just kept ringing. I emailed twice. The drunk domestics went outside and were arguing and shouting in the street. One of them left the other one outside. The man left outside was repeatedly booting the main building front door shouting his head off “Kerry Anne! You’re going to have me arrested!” Bang bang bang. And yelling all sorts of other stuff in his meltdown whilst repeatedly kicking the front door. My mum messaged me to tell me she had called the police. We were both shaken up by this. It was a horrible experience. I wanted to leave, but it was 1am at this point and I did not want to walk with my child through this. The police came and managed to diffuse the situation. I didn’t feel comfortable or even safe sleeping there, I put a chair between the door and the radiator. Waiting for them to come and boot it, after my mum had phoned the police on them. We didn’t get to sleep until gone 3am. After the police left they were quiet thankfully. If my mum hadn’t rang the police who knows how long that would have carried on. Both myself and my mum are past staying in the youth hostel experiences. We complained to the hotel the following day who have said it was a failing on their phone, as to why we couldn’t get through. Have offered us 50% off to stay again. Which we never would, a refund would have been more appropriate. It was a learning curve for us and we will stay somewhere with 24hour desk staff in future. Yes people can’t handle their alcohol and act stupidly but that’s not on the guests to have to manage. I am still upset about this because I had my child with me. Hopefully the hotel learns from this and offers a better service and looks after their guests in future. Also to add; cleanliness, no mattress protector blood stain by head on right side of mattress in 104. I only saw the top of the mattress as I pulled the sheet over the pillows as they didn’t smell good.
