About Eskdale Guest House

Greig Street sits close to the River Ness, and it's on this quiet stretch of Inverness that Eskdale Guest House occupies a traditional stone building, just under a mile from the city centre. The setting gives guests easy access to the town while keeping a residential, settled feel, with a garden and outdoor seating adding a spot to sit outside when the weather allows.

Inside, the guesthouse offers modern rooms with en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and drinks available in the room. Breakfast is cooked to order each morning, and packed lunches can be arranged for guests heading out for the day. Adults-only, it suits couples and those looking for a quieter stay, with 24 hour reception, luggage storage and free on-site parking covering the practical side of things.

The surrounding area has plenty to occupy guests, with golf and fishing nearby alongside pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out, and Culloden Battlefield within reach for a day trip. It's a straightforward, well-kept base for exploring Inverness and the wider Highlands.

Great location, in the centre of Inverness, with a dedicated parking place which is very useful. Milos is very welcoming and willing to give any recommendations to visit Inverness and its surroundings. We enjoyed the Scottish breakfast prepared by the host. We recommend this place to stay a night in Inverness.

Cannot fault the property or the host. The property is in a good location only a short walk from the town centre. Plenty of places near by for food just ask the host and she will be able to direct. My room was clean, tidy, comfortable with everything I needed. I had a room with a private bath room. The bath room was very nice with a full size shower unit again very clean and tidy like the room. As it was a separate room it benefited from having Windows which you can open to let in air. The host Kath, was very helpful making sure all her guests had everything they need on arrival and through out our stay. Breakfast was severed in the dining room which was decorated well and had a nice homely feel. I had the continental breakfast which there was plenty of and Cath was very accommodating to guest requirements. Highly recommended and when I am back in the area I will be using Eskdale again.

Eskdale Guest House is lovely. I felt warmly welcomed right away and after long travels I was thankful for a clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, and reliable WiFi. The house is beautiful. The detailed decorations include a Scottish rug in almost every room of the house. I loved the view outside my window. The local shops and restaurants are very close - an easy walking distance. The continental breakfast was simple yet good - some of the best local honey! It was quiet and easy to sleep here.
