About Strathblane House

Strathblane House is a guesthouse set within an older Inverness property, offering an adults-only stay on Harrowden Rd, close to the heart of the city. Its character comes from the residential feel of the building itself, with a garden setting that offsets the short distance into central Inverness, roughly three-quarters of a mile away.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and drinks available in the room, while guests also have use of a kitchen. Reception operates around the clock, and free on-site parking is provided, which is useful given the property's residential street location.

The area around the guesthouse offers plenty to fill a stay, with a pub, bar and restaurant all nearby, along with golf and fishing within easy reach for those wanting to get outdoors. Culloden Battlefield lies close by too, giving history-minded guests a notable point of interest without needing to travel far. Inverness itself is a short journey away for anyone wanting the wider city.

Lovely guesthouse! Rooms are clean and nice. Shower is good. Quiet road and perfect location as 10 min walk to town and a 3 min walk to an aldi for snacks etc. Room had a fridge and some amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Good location but that was about all. Management seemed more concerned about damage deposits than providing good service. Everything is done ovet the internet. They email you the access code to your room. If you do not have an international phone plan you are locked out. This actually happened to another party while we were staying there. Room 6 is like a college dorm room. Room 2 was better. You would get a a better price and accommodation at a B & B. I would never stay here again.

Booked for one night as we had hiked from Glasgow to Inverness. The room was very clean, the bathroom was big enough. Kitchenette was appropriate for that we needed it for. Only let down was that, a shower gel would have been great as we didn’t bring any on out journey. How’s, there is a supermarket literally at the end of the street. The beds were comfortable...but that could be because we were sleep “rough” for a few days (but seriously, they were very comfortable). The staff was fantastic and made sure we were settled. They lived a two doors down, and encouraged us to call on them whenever we needed them...which we did...for a iron 😊

Just got hear at 23.55 and first impression very very good. Very comfortable single bed and the attention to the little things like crisps biscuits and brioche .water and juice in the fridge is first class. It would be great if the larger hotel chain's followed there attention to detail. 10 out of 10😴😴😴x
