Bwthyn Pereos

Isle of Anglesey

View on Google Maps

Bwthyn Pereos comes ready for cooking and living: a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine; a wood burner with initial fuel included; gas central heating; and wifi throughout. Bed linen, towels and electricity are covered. One dog is welcome. Everything is on a single storey, accessible from the main entrance, though there are 5 steps down from the conservatory to the garden.

The property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a king bed, two zip-and-link singles (which can join to form a super king), and a third room with a single bed and a pull-out single. There are two bathrooms—one ensuite with a shower, the other with a bath and shower. Outside, a large enclosed lawn with patio furniture and parking for four cars frame views across Cemlyn Bay. The Cemlyn Nature Reserve, managed by the North Wales Wildlife Trust, is the immediate neighbour; its curved shoreline and salt lagoon are recognised as the finest example in Wales.

This corner of Anglesey suits walkers and birdwatchers especially. Cemaes Bay village, three miles away, has shops, pubs and a harbour. The island's attractions—sea zoo, Beaumaris Castle, seal and puffin trips—are within reach, as are Holyhead port for Ireland crossings and Snowdonia beyond.
