28 Anchorage Way

28 Anchorage Way is a modest detached house overlooking the River Medina, with the marina visible across the water. The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen and living space connected by French doors to an enclosed garden where you can sit outside. Upstairs are two bedrooms – one with a king bed, the other with two singles – and a bathroom with bath and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking proper meals, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and fresh bed linen and towels are included. Parking for two cars sits on the property. The house accepts one pet. Smoking is not permitted.

East Cowes sits close to the Red Funnel ferry terminal, with cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Osborne House, Queen Victoria's former residence, is nearby along with its gardens and Swiss Cottage. The chain ferry across the Medina takes you to Cowes on the western shore, where yacht racing and harbourside dining are centrepieces of life.
