Bonchurch Hideaway
Isle of Wight
Bonchurch is a village on the Isle of Wight's southern coast, with a shingle beach, rock pools, and access to the Undercliff walking route. The coastal path connects it to Ventnor and its sandy beaches, gardens and cafés. A pub stands within a mile. Bonchurch Hideaway is a three-bedroom cottage that sleeps six, arranged over two floors with a garden to the rear.
Downstairs holds a living room with a Freeview Smart TV, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a double (4ft 6in), two singles (3ft each), and a bunk room (3ft). The single bathroom has a bath with shower. Gas heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The back garden has a patio and sitting-out furniture. No smoking inside the property.
The location suits families and groups wanting to explore the coast on foot. Shanklin and Sandown, both with wider beaches and family attractions, are nearby. The village itself has literary connections—Dickens and Swinburne both spent time here—and the dramatic cliff scenery and sea views reward a walk inland or along the shore.
