Bonito

Ventnor's clifftop setting makes it one of the Island's sunniest spots, with Victorian architecture lining streets that slope down to a sand and shingle beach. Bonito sits within this established seaside town, close enough to reach the esplanade and shops on foot, yet positioned to capture views across the water from its front aspect.

The bungalow is entirely on ground level and arranged around an open-plan living space with a large bay window framing those sea views. There are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with a single—and a shower room plus separate toilet. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob for proper cooking, and a washing machine is on hand. A side conservatory provides extra seating. Out back, a tiered garden with terraces and decking faces the view; steps connect the different levels. One car parks at the front through a 5-bar gate. Electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are all included. No smoking throughout.

Ventnor offers restaurants, takeaways, small supermarkets, museums and the Winter Gardens entertainment venue. Ventnor Botanic Garden—sheltered by chalk downs in a rare microclimate—sits inland with its own café and hosts events. A pub is within a mile's walk.
