Coastguard Cottage
Isle of Wight

Brook sits on the quieter southwest side of the Isle of Wight, where the coastline remains largely undeveloped. Coastguard Cottage occupies a modest position here, sleeping four across two bedrooms—a kingsize and two singles—with one bathroom and a separate toilet. The ground floor holds the living and dining space alongside a kitchen fitted for straightforward cooking; the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
The sea lies within a mile, close enough for a short walk to reach the shore. On-road parking is available outside, with a public car park also nearby if needed. The cottage allows no smoking. It suits those wanting a genuine seaside base without the bustle of larger resort towns, with good road links to the ferry ports at Fishbourne and East Cowes for mainland access by car.

Really nice cottage with good facilities and great location near the beach and the needles. Shops in nearest town 10mins drive for supplies. Well looked after, clean sheets and towels provided. Parking is not great, we managed to squeeze our car onto the verge outside and turning around on the narrow lane is tricky. Need a car to visit anything other than beach.
