About Seahaven House

Rooms at Seahaven House come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks provided, and free WiFi, with family rooms available for those travelling in a group. Several rooms look out over the sea, giving guests a straightforward reason to book beyond simply having a bed for the night. Reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible.

Breakfast is served each morning in a dining room that still carries its original 19th-century features, a nice touch of character for a family-run guest house. The property doesn't pretend to be more than a B&B, and it's worth knowing that opinions on it have been mixed, but the basics of a clean room, a cooked breakfast and a sea view are what most guests come for.

Seahaven House sits on St Thomas Street in Ryde, within reach of the seafront and the town's pubs, restaurants and other eateries. The surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists, and there's a golf course and entertainment nearby for those wanting more to do beyond the coast itself.

Absolutely one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing looked like the photos online. The whole property felt old, uncomfortable, and badly managed. The bathroom facilities were terrible, the room smelled unpleasant, and the overall hygiene standards were very disappointing. Customer service was also very poor and staff were rude and unhelpful whenever we raised concerns. For the price charged, this place is completely unacceptable. I would never stay here again and honestly would not recommend it to anyone visiting Isle of Wight. There are far better places to stay in Ryde.

Great location 2 minutes walk from Ryde ferry port with sea views from some rooms. Staff were helpful and flexible for us. The place is a little run down but clean and well run and not that expensive so I would recommend it. We didn't have the breakfast option but it is seconds away from a cafe that does great breakfasts.

The room was clean the towels smelled lovely. But broken shelf , broken door trim, two massive old fashioned boilers in the bathroom!. Broken shower head no pressure and couldn't get any hot water out also tiles broken in bathroom. I stayed here before and had a pleasant stay. This room was in disrepair also now I've been charged a 25 pound charge even though I left on time. Never again. Now the owner being rude and argumentative because they have been called out yet again!!! Read the other reviews.the hotel said I was loud n abusive I asked for cctv they couldn't provide it. For a fa family business all they've done is mock my dyslexia! Judge me and my mental health. I'd stay the a veteran an amazing place with real people. Seahaven lied and and mocked my mental health and inhave proof.
