Worthy and venerable establishment with excellent decor and ambience. Discounts available for veterans and blue light card holders and great selection of beers. Great place to have a drink whilst looking over the Solent and supporting our ex-forces. Very dog friendly and great staff.

Wow! What a place for Veterans. I wish the rest of England would have a place like this in every town. Totally enjoyed the friendliness and like minded people. Stayed for a night with a discount for Veterans too! Just bring your MOD100.

Popped into the veterans hotel when I was on holiday, I am a veteran so wanted to see the place for myself, we had a great couple of hours, meet Dale the owner and a mate who also served. Great pint of real ale.
