Grove Barn

Grove Barn is a converted barn sleeping five guests in three bedrooms, located in Carisbrooke on the Isle of Wight's outskirts near Newport. The property sits on grounds with countryside views; from the hot tub you can see Carisbrooke Castle. There are steps in the garden and one step at the entrance.

Downstairs holds a living room with a wood burner, a separate second sitting room, a study, kitchen with electric cooking and dishwasher, and a toilet. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and one single, served by a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included, along with wood for the burner. You get private parking for two cars and a hot tub for four; one well-behaved pet stays free.

Carisbrooke sits within reach of Newport's shops and restaurants. Monkey Haven and Robin Hill Country Park lie a couple of miles away. Multiple beaches run in different directions—westward toward quieter stretches, south to Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor with their arcades and facilities. No smoking indoors.
