This period cottage sits in a quiet setting with St Boniface Down as a backdrop. Downstairs has underfloor heating throughout, and period fireplaces are among the original features that give the place character. The enclosed garden is the real draw in fine weather: there's a hot tub for evening relaxation and room for a barbecue. Countryside walks start from the front door and lead to beaches including Ventnor's sandy shore. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The property is non-smoking.
Ventnor itself is within easy reach, combining a traditional seaside atmosphere with galleries, shops and cafés. Whether you're after quiet days pottering in the garden or exploring the coastal paths, this works as either.

Haviland Cottage is an absolutely amazing piece of history. The rooms are spacious and well laid out, it's very well equipped with everything you'll need, the gardens are beautiful and it's close enough to shops for all your needs within walking distance. It felt like a comfortable home away from home. Definitely worth a visit!

Having just spent a week here I cannot recommend Haviland Cottage highly enough. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard, both Netflix and Amazon are included, along with an amazing DVD collection. A fabulous house in a quiet location with plenty of garden space for kids to play in and all within walking distance of a beach and a pub (up a steep hill tho). 2 parking space as well.

Haviland Cottage is simply stunning. From the beautiful renovation, to the luxurious furnishings and the modern high end appliances the owners really thought about this property when creating the perfect holiday home. Our dogs loved the large enclosed gardens and we loved our own secret path to the beach and the fabulous hot tub. The cottage is perfectly placed for the visiting the Isle of Wight and I’d highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a boutique luxury retreat. Massive thanks to the owners and also Lisa their housekeeper who works so incredibly hard to keep the cottage absolutely spotless.
