Solent Point is a two-bedroom bungalow on the north-western coast of the Isle of Wight, positioned on a clifftop with uninterrupted views across the Solent to the mainland. From here you can watch sailing traffic pass, spot the Needles along the coast, and take in the landscape that changes throughout the day. The property has its own parking for two cars and a patio garden where you can sit out with those views.
Inside, a spacious open-plan living area contains a kitchen with electric oven and hob, and a dining space opening onto the patio. One bedroom has a three-quarter double bed, the other two singles. There are three bathrooms between them. Electricity and bed linen are included; a washing machine is available on-site. The clifftop location is quiet and peaceful, though the site also has a play area and pitch-and-putt golf for families. Smoking is not permitted.
The western side of the island is prime walking and cycling country, and Colwell Bay—one of the island's best beaches—is a short walk away, with calm, shelving sand good for swimming. Compton Bay, popular with surfers, is a short drive further along the coast. This works well for couples or families wanting to base themselves somewhere with genuine sea views and easy access to both the beach and the wider island.
