The Blacksmith Shop

The Blacksmith Shop is a converted former smithy in the village of Shorwell, on the south west of the Isle of Wight. Three bedrooms sleep up to five people in a whole property to yourselves, with one bathroom and a wet room. A wood-burning stove warms the living and dining area; the kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wi-fi are all included, along with initial fuel for the fire. There is private parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with a gazebo.

Shorwell centres on its 12th-century church and the village green, surrounded by historic manor houses and thatched cottages. The area is designated for its natural beauty and sits within a network of footpaths and bridleways for walking and cycling. A country pub and local shop are nearby. The Isle of Wight's beaches and attractions—including The Needles with its chairlift, amusement park and boat trips—are within reach for a range of activities. Dogs are welcome. No smoking is permitted in the property.
