The Salt Pot

The Salt Pot comes ready for immediate use. Electricity, gas central heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, so you arrive to a functioning home rather than a half-finished project. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer—adequate for cooking proper meals. A woodburner in the living room provides extra warmth on colder evenings, with logs available locally. The three bedrooms sleep six: one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles, and a third with bunks for children. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor as a wet room and a second upstairs with a bath and shower.

The cottage stands in a quiet spot within walking distance of Ventnor, a Victorian seaside town with a sandy beach, fishing harbour, shops, cafés and restaurants. An enclosed garden with patio and terrace offers outdoor space, and the property has on-road parking. The coastal path from Ventnor leads to Steephill Cove and beyond towards Bonchurch; the Botanical Gardens are also nearby. Note that the garden has 26 steps, and there are 4 steps to the entrance. The property is non-smoking.
