Amazing campsite, run by amazing people. Special shout out to Dave the campsite manager, who cannot do enough for for anyone needing help. The micro pub, butchers and pastry shop all sell unreal produce which is honestly next level (and probably be the best cider I've ever tried!) Can't wait to go back, Cheers!

Peaceful, beautiful, organised, amazing coffees in the morning, gorgeous beers in their mini pub, loveliest surroundings, sheep around, and most importantly, David the campsite sup. You won’t find a lovelier most helpful gentleman. He helped us set up our tent, brought over a generator to inflate beds, and jump started our car!! You feel sad leaving this place. Other more experienced campers said this was one of their top most preferrable campsites! We must return!!

Lovely find...spacious camping away from main roads. Great facilities, wash up, showers and places to charge phones. Luckily enough to see the cows calving in the next field. Lovely local butchers for BBQs. We didn't stay over a weekend but the coffee truck looked great too. Dave was super helpful and really informative about the local area places to visit.

We’ve just had the most fantastic bank holiday weekend at Goldstone Campsite. Dave the campsite manager and the team could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly the whole time we were there. I couldn’t believe that I had forgotten to pack my teabags and happened to mention this on arrival. Dave had put a handful in my hand before I had even finished the sentence! Thank you again Dave 😀. The on-site facilities were marvellous. Fridges and freezers to use which were brilliant, a hairdryer, place to charge phones and a lovely new wooden toilet and shower block always clean, fully stocked with hand soap and toilet rolls and with hot water at all times. My only recommendation would be to have a small corner shelf/hook near the sinks to put wash bag and towel down while cleaning teeth. The coffee and cocktails sold on site from the gorgeous horse box were excellent quality as was the amazing butchers selling top quality meat and produce, again with super friendly and lovely staff. We had the most delicious hog roast on the Saturday evening complete with music and a lovely marquee. There was a lovely atmosphere. Not loud. Just warm and friendly. The field itself was large and everyone pitched up around the edges leaving plenty of room for children to play. We are a family of four (‘children’ 21 and 24) and we absolutely loved this quiet and friendly campsite. We enjoyed the top quality food and drinks, having campfires in the evenings and exploring the huge variety of things to do in the local area. We will definitely return.
