Setmabanning Caravan Park

We've just left our 3 night stay here and loved every minute. It's a working farm. We loved seeing all the animals free roaming and loved it even more when the sheep and farm pup came close to our pitch to say hello. We made use of the farm shop quite a few times. The Cumberland sausages were delicious! The site was silent after 10pm and from 5am the animals started to wake and there was a bit of noise, but again did not mind at all. Lovely to hear and made us chuckle. The bathroom facilities were fine, no frills.. but the power showers were probably some of the best I've used on a campsite. Beautiful dog walks from the campsite and massive pitches with great space between one another. We hope to return another year. Thankyou.

As a frequent motorhome camper traveller. We use alot of sites and having found this as a last minute change due to flooding in a previous site. We left happy an more than happy with this site. After reading reviews i can agree. it does have beautiful views. An great motorhome facilities. With generous space provided at each plot. The onsite honesty shop was a great bonus as we may have used this alot for chocolate and bits. . We stayed for 5 nights and both commented how lovely an quiet it was at night. We also do love the fact its a working farm so hearing animals occasionally was quite nice. Overall i would recommend and we would stay here again. I will note we was self contained an didnt need the public toilet block or showers but can comment they are adequate. But are in need of a refurb. An if the site did carry out such upgrade i feel the site could easily charge more for what it offers. Local pubs are good and a 20min walk and two big mountains just on your door step if your keen hikers like us. We stayed for Christmas an loved it so thank you Setmabanning

Lovely quiet site...very friendly owners. Ten mins to Keswick with the twice weekly market. We had a super stay and would agree with other reviewers regarding the toilet and shower facilities ..just an upgrade required but perfectly adequate. Many thanks...proper good honesty shop...homemade everything is fab...👍

Amazing scenery very spacious campervan plots it's a family run farm but not to noisy at all very peaceful there is an honesty shop on site with little bits you may need, toilets showers are very basic but adequate. There is a track across the way the old railway that takes you directly into Keswick it's a lovely walk and a pub on the village about a mile away horse & farrier does lovely food. Really enjoyable couple of days here.
