Dollywagon was a lovely little place, we came for Lakesman Triathlon and wanted somewhere near to Keswick but not too busy. We dont really like hotels with our Pup but Low Nest was in a perfect location for us, and only a couple of miles walk to Keswick. Great little kitchen space, super comfy bed, and most importantly peace and quiet! We will definitely be back, thank you!

We had a fantastic time staying at Low Nest. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed, and our dog loved the big fields to run around in! It’s a brilliant location, lots of local walks nearby and easy to get into Keswick or anywhere else in the Lakes as well. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent space for a relaxing break for two. Well converted shepherd's hut, with a large deck. Inside, a comfortable double bed, proper shower and toilet and a well equipped kitchen (including Nespresso machine). Also a comfortable sofa looking out over the beautiful view, which is better appreciated out in the gorgeous and relaxing Japanese bath. Hot water is rinsingly hot but there was plenty for a bath as well as two showers. Elsewhere on the deck there's some more seating, and room to dry our two man tent inner a covered area! Room inside is understandably tight but that's the nature of a hut, not a problem for two. Well located between Keswick and Ambleside with a nearby bus stop. Would thoroughly recommend if you fancy so peaceful, quiet and relaxing time in gorgeous surrounds with the option of accessing plenty of walking (including from the door)

We always come back here. So much accommodation choice in Keswick but this has proven to be our favourite and if we've stayed anywhere else for any reason, we miss not being at low nest. Can't recommend enough. Breathtaking views with my morning coffee. You just can't beat it and brilliant value for money which is an added bonus.
