We had a brilliant stay at Burleigh Mead and would definitely recommend it. We were delayed by a puncture on the drive up, but the owners were kind and accommodating regarding our late check-in - pointing us to the local Wetherspoons for our late Tea! The B&B is in a perfect location for enjoying Keswick at a great price. Our room was lovely, clean, with really comfortable beds that were welcomed after each hike! It’s a lovely, welcoming place. The car park for the B&B is small but makes do if you're leaving your car there for the duration of your stay - the owner did point out the free on street parking opposite the B&B and there is a larger car park nearby. Thankyou for a great stay! 🙌

Couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Keswick! Minutes from shops and pubs, minutes from Derwentwater and the boat launch. There is a great view of Catbells from the front of the inn. Mel is a fantastic host and cooks a great full English breakfast. Rooms are super comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Away for a long weekend with my wife and walking friends. Based here, close to town and there are many fell walks to start from here or just a short drive away. The owner is very friendly, local and knowledgeable. Breakfast was great quality food and a decent choice. Room is comfortable, clean and just big enough. We would stay again and it is highly recommendable.

We absolutely love staying at Burleigh Mead! The location is superb with wonderful views over Hope Park out to the fells. Easy walking distance to Derwentwater, Theatre in the Lakes, and pedestrian zone with all the shops and restaurants. The addition of hotel-owned parking spaces is a plus. We have stayed in the Burleigh Mead suite, and it is fabulous! The room is spotless, huge, well-equipped. The breakfast buffet and plated meals are delicious. We look forward to our next stay!
