About Cragwood Guesthouse
Just four rooms make up Cragwood Guesthouse, a small adults-only guesthouse on Blencathra Street in Keswick, giving it a quieter, more personal feel than larger hotels nearby. Set across three floors, each room comes en-suite with free WiFi and drinks provided, and several look out towards the surrounding mountains.
Breakfast is included, and packed lunches can be arranged for those heading out for the day, useful given the walking and cycling routes on the doorstep. There's a garden to sit in, luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures, and reception is staffed around the clock. Free parking is available nearby, handy since the guesthouse itself has none on site.
Keswick's pubs, restaurants and entertainment are all within easy reach, and Derwentwater and Fitz Park are close by for walking or watersports. Golf and fishing can also be arranged locally. It's a straightforward, well-kept base for exploring the northern Lake District, with the town's amenities a short walk away.

Fantastic stay - would recommend to anybody. My partner and I stayed in the 'Latrigg' room - which was spacious and had views out to the mountains. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The hosts were very accommodating and lovely to speak with. Very central - about a 5-10 minute walk at most into town + to the lake.

Emma and Sean have been excellent hosts, despite it being street parking we easily got parked outside the guesthouse. The room (Skiddaw) was beautiful with a lovely comfy king bed, kettle with plenty tea coffee biscuits. The room has all your amenities including toiletries and a hairdryer. Very clean throughout and the breakfast each of the 3 days was lovely. I like pre ordering breakfast the night before especially as it cuts down on food waste. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Stayed for two nights this month. Room was immaculate with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was fantastic and enough to set ourselves up for a busy day out walking. Great location. Thank you Emma for being such a great host and you will be the first we call on our next visit to Keswick. Danny and Denise

A beautiful B&B with lovely owners who make a great breakfast (with lots of choice). Only a 5 minute stroll into the centre of Keswick, plenty of free street parking available. We plan to book again.
