A great base for exploring the fantastic running trails around Keswick. The room was clean with really comfy beds. Short walk to the centre where there are lots of eating and drinking options. The Winchester served a great vegetarian breakfast and good coffee! We didn't bring a dog ourselves but it was sweet seeing the canine guests get their breakfast sausage.

What a wonderful weekend. The room was lovely, bright, and very clean. There was everything for our dog, Anna and she was made very welcome dog treats in the room bowls for her food and water bowls provided at the front door if she was wet and dirty and even a sausage at breakfast . It's ideally situated for the town center and there is a park right on the door step. We will be back fabulous

An enjoyable stay in a very clean property with great hosts. B&B is dog friendly and all were very well behaved. Breakfast excellent. Great location for walks around Derwent Water and further afield. Short walk from town centre. Would stay again. Can be booked direct with them through their website or via Booking.com. Market rate for the location.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Winchester. We received a very warm welcome and so did our little dog. We had a great family room on the top floor with stunning views overlooking Skiddaw. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. We will definitely stay again we have had a lovely stay.
