⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic day at Lodore Falls Spa. The facilities are excellent, with a great range of thermal experiences and steam rooms, all set against the stunning backdrop of Derwentwater. The views alone make it a special place, and the whole spa has a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere. The staff were lovely throughout—friendly, attentive, and welcoming—which really added to the experience. Afterwards, we had lunch in the Mizu restaurant, where the food was delicious and the service was just as good. It was the perfect way to round off the day. The only things that stopped it from being absolutely perfect were the restaurant chairs and the drinks pricing. The chairs have no full back or armrests, just a cushioned bar, and we found them surprisingly uncomfortable. They also wouldn’t be particularly inclusive for larger diners, which feels like a significant oversight nowadays. The other slight disappointment was the drinks. They felt quite expensive for what they were, and the quality didn’t quite justify the price. Overall though, these were minor negatives in what was otherwise a wonderful experience. Beautiful surroundings, excellent spa facilities, great food, and genuinely warm service. We’d happily return and would definitely recommend it.

Stunning room over looking the lake - beautiful decor, spacious and very clean. Had a fridge, tea, coffee, robes etc The spa was very clean and relaxing- I was surprised thare was no welcome drink included though. Afternoon Tea - absolutely beautiful, wonderful restaurant with views over the lake and good service. However, its the only afternoon tea I have ever been to where you dont get offered more tea or coffee during the 2 hour booking.... A little disappointing. We did get to take any leftovers with us which was good. The evening meal in the Mizu restaurant was delicious. Food came very quickly, was very fresh and good service. Breakfast - good selection. Hot food made to order. Overall we enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location. Drinks are a little expensive, but its to be expected in such a lovely hotel.

Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa is just superb! Located just a few miles from the quaint market town of Keswick the hotel and spa are set in the most beautiful surroundings. Staff at the hotel and spa are very welcoming. We chose the hotel to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and it was well worth it. The staff are all very welcoming and will go out of their way to help if needed. During our stay we chose to eat at the Falls Brassiere, the food was excellent therefore compliments to the chef! All the waiting staff at the Falls Brassiere were excellent, so thank you! To mention a few, one of the waiting staff was so so helpful in recommending their personal recommendation from the menu, unfortunately I didn't manage to capture their name. Another extremely helpful member of the waiting staff was Dann. One evening Dann very kindly brought a small jar of honey for my wife to add to her Camomile tea and also when hearing that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary Dann presented us both with a "happy anniversary" card from the Falls Brassiere team. A few other mentions of names from the waiting staff I managed to remember are Stella are Ana. We cannot thank the team at Lodore Falls for making our anniversary a memorable one! Rooms were clean with room serviced every day. I do recommend a balcony room for a great view. Also a bus stop is directly outside the hotel to get into Keswick which is very helpful. Also from our balcony room you could see some deer grazing in the field plus a robin would occasionally join us on the balcony.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, where we booked a private cabana with the BBQ package, and it was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The setting is stunning, with breathtaking scenery that makes any occasion feel extra special. The cabana itself was beautifully presented, private, and the perfect place to celebrate with family and friends. The BBQ package was exceptional - the food was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully prepared. What really stood out, though, was the outstanding customer service. From the moment I made the booking right through to the day of the celebration, every member of the team was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly. Every detail was first class, and it made my milestone birthday truly unforgettable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, or even just treat themselves to a memorable day. Thank you to the whole team for making my 40th birthday so special!
