Field House Bothy is a single-bedroom cottage on the ground floor, sleeping two, with the essentials covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The layout is open plan, combining living, dining and kitchen areas with a bedroom and wet room, so there's no wasted space. Everything you might need for self-catering is here—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave—alongside a washing machine and tumble dryer in a shared laundry room. The television comes with Netflix and Amazon Firestick; there's also a DVD player and Bluetooth speaker if you want to bring entertainment with you.
Located in Borrowdale, Cumberland, the cottage sits at the foot of Grange Crags with views across the valley towards Derwent Water and Cat Bells. The design prioritises accessibility, with wide front doors and an electric-assisted bed that eases getting in and out. A power shower in the walk-in wet room means you can rinse off after a day out. The surrounding area suits walkers: level paths run through Hope Park on the edge of Keswick and along the lakeside to Friars Crag viewpoint. A pub sits within a mile. One car can park on site. Smoking is not permitted.
