Lovely village setting. Very old hotel that has kept many of its old features. The bedrooms are small but beautifully refurbed to a modern day comfort. We had a sumptious afternoon tea and a full delicious breakfast the next morning. The Model Village at the rear is also open to guests for free. So sweet. The staff at the hotel are hard working and very helpful..nothing is too much trouble. If disabled and not able to managed stairs, book a downstairs room.

We went for lunch and overall we were satisfied with our meal. Would recommend this venue over other pubs closer to the centre of Bourton, which get very busy very quickly. My partner had the double cheeseburger, which he said was very nice. I had fish and chips which was good but probably not the best.

We came here based on the reviews and were not disappointed! The food was honestly delicious, we tried the lamb and the steak and ale pie special, both were just perfect. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy and it had a lovely vibe to it. Service was fantastic and we couldn't fault anything! Would definitely come back!!

Had an lovely roast beef sunday lunch today. Table pre booked, and used the onsite carpark, very convenient, but such is the growing number of big suv and EV's, was tight for many punters as we watched on. Inn was extremely busy as it is also placed in the busy village with easy walking access. Lots of tourist nationalities in the mix made an interesting environment. Food came out hot, very well presented and cooked very well. Highly recommend the beef roast with it's large Yorkshire pudding. Staff were on the ball too, kept busy, but organised. We would visit again. Thanks
