do not tell me to get in touch with guest services. . i have twice. . no response. i contact the park on day one and followed this up too. false promises made until last day manager called with some b.s story she thought i was coming back to reception to see her... why this was never discussed so why would she think it especially as she was the one that said she would call me within 24 hours. she is not fit for purpose at skegness and just lies out her a... told she would email with compensation awarded once looked into but basically the difference between price of bog standard no deck van vs. the decking silver new van we paid 750 for on a week in easter. . that is how long this has been going on and they just think you will give up eventually and do not care. my holiday was ruined be the location of our van 52 rigsby wood in skegness as it faces a building site, the workmens car park rest room and toilet block. it is vile and should never have been let out. we could not use our deck due to the noise, dust and view. so want a refund for the difference here as promised. see tripadvisor or google reviews. j spencer leicestershire.

Arrived at Craig Tara Ayr 1st June 2026 went to check location of Caravan only to find the picture of where the caravan which was sent to me by Haven had a clear view.but sadly we were met by overgrown branches and trees but also bushes.hitting the caravan so no clear view as which was indicated in the picture so false advertisement. I went to customer service to advise I am claustrophobic and take major panic attacks And having no view only tress and bushes set my anxiety off . Jodie after speaking to her manager we were offered an apartment went to see it and we were aware it was on the top floor. But my partner has mobility issues this was explained when they offered us the apartment. But there was two flights of stairs which my partner would not be able to manage. Returned to customer service and again told the girl about my concern and I was willing to upgrade but was advised by the manager the apartment was the very last one on the site. My daughter who had booked the holiday spoke to customer service and they advised they would come to the caravan in the morning and cut back the trees and bushes so I had no choice to accept the caravan reluctantly. This was relayed be site manager too By this time I swore I would never return as we are still waiting on the grounds team to cut the trees and bushes back. So the manager was not true to her word so in turn poor customer service. I nearly lost my life in January the 1st 2026 hence why my daughter booked this week away as she knows how much I love my Haven caravan holidays only to be very upset. As head office what do you make of your conduct your team from Craig tara performed please don't say they did everything the said they would do. A very disappointed customer i always thought as a service provide your manager would have been true to her word 😔

We booked for a weekend break at Thornwick Bay through a 3rd party for the 12,/06/ to the 15/06 we arrived only to find it was a Scam the lady no longer owned a van on site, Manager came to our rescue and offered us one as a goodwill gesture,amazing. Through out our stay we found all the staff first class, polite, helpful and caring. I am 81 and disabled so this was a disaster turned into a very pleasant stay. Complements to staff and management. Left a hold-all in bedroom. Driving home realised it was left phoned Weymouth bay. It is in their book. Phoned several times. So today I pop in as I’m in Weymouth told by Evie it’s not been found. I say it’s not lost it’s was left in locked caravan so we’re is my hold-all. She tells me Becky the manager will phone me again NO phone call
