Greenbank Cottage

Greenbank Cottage sits on the Great Ouse, where the river runs across the road from the property. It's a three-bedroom house sleeping five, with one bathroom, set up as a whole place to yourself. The ground floor has a living room with French doors opening to the garden, a separate dining room and kitchen equipped for proper cooking, plus a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one double and two single rooms. An external utility room houses a tumble dryer and storage for bikes and equipment, useful if you're planning to explore the surrounding countryside.

The enclosed garden is the real draw here—it comes with a summerhouse, garden furniture and a barbecue. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; heating and electricity run to a small weekly charge November through March. A travel cot is available if needed. The property takes one small to medium dog, and welcomes families and couples only. No smoking inside.

The village has a pub, butcher and shop for essentials; Denver, Hillgay and Southery are within three miles and offer further options. Downham Market, a historic market town, is five miles away. Sandringham, Hunstanton (50 minutes' drive), Welney Wetlands and Wells-next-the-Sea are all within reasonable reach for day trips. Local produce shops and a garden centre sit within two miles.
