Timbers Barn

Timbers Barn sits within the flat, open expanses of the Norfolk Fens, part of a cluster of converted farm buildings on a working estate near King's Lynn. The landscape here is quietly rural—wide skies, long views, and the kind of space that makes you breathe differently. The setting works equally well as a base for exploring the area's attractions or as a retreat in itself, with farm walks and coarse fishing available on the grounds.

The barn itself is a 3-bedroom property sleeping 5, with a double and ensuite on the first floor, two singles in a second bedroom, and a single in a third. There are two bathrooms. Downstairs holds the living room with television and DVD player, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and the rest—and a separate dining area. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the heating and utilities are covered too. A courtyard patio with garden furniture and a barbecue sit outside, and there is parking on site. Children are catered for with a cot and highchair available, and a dedicated play area with wooden climbing equipment and swings is part of the wider complex.

Timbers Barn guests share access to a heated outdoor swimming pool (open May to September), a hot tub, sauna, and a games room with pool table and table football. The location puts Oxburgh Hall, a moated manor house dating from 1482, within reach, along with Langham Glass and various craft barns, wildlife parks and farm attractions. No smoking is permitted inside the property.
