Goosander Cottage

Three former weavers' cottages have been combined into one large holiday home in Kirklees, on the northern edge of the Peak District National Park. Walk through the entrance and you step into a living space designed around entertaining groups—there are seven bedrooms across two floors, each with its own bathroom, and a ground floor built around a kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a woodburner. The bedrooms range from singles to a super king; most have en-suite showers, and there is also a main bathroom with a roll-top bath and shower attachment. Bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, as is heating (underfloor on the ground floor). The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.

Outside, a private hot tub overlooks rolling countryside. The cottage accepts one pet at no extra cost. It is licensed as a whole property rental only—you and your party have the place to yourselves. Parking is on the road. No smoking is permitted inside. There are four steps up to the entrance.
