Food: We have come here on multiple occasions to play our board games and when we do, we generally have a meal to go along with it. The food is consistent throughout with good flavour across most of what you order. However the star of the show is the seabass. Service: Generally pretty solid if unspectacular service with helpful waiters and waitresses who are chill. Atmosphere: There is a good loud atmosphere when the place is crowded and a nice relaxing and calm atmosphere when it is quieter. I think it's got something for everyone here, whether it be just to come for a drink or to watch a football match.

What a fantastic pub! I can't believe I've only just discovered it - it has a proper community feel, with the added bonus of genuinely fantastic food and reasonably priced drinks. Lovely atmosphere inside and out, and the staff are fab. Shout out to Oscar who was a wonderful pub quiz host on Wednesday (not least because we won...!) Dog friendly too, Onion was very appreciative of the treats. We will definitely be back

Nice pub with a good beer garden for summer. We came on a Sunday afternoon especially for the Sunday roast. Which unfortunately - was awful. The half chicken was like something frozen that had been microwaved, the veg was tough and tasteless, the gravy (bisto) was lumpy and cold. Come for a nice drink and avoid the food.

I live in a rural farm area and after reading the gushing reviews then my expectations were set too high. The Sunday roast was drowning in gravy, the beef was of modest quality, the portions were ample but that's not what I dine out for. If this is a London gem then that suggests the rest of my dinning experience in London will be pretty miserable. Overall, standard pub fare, service was good, the garden was fine but nothing to write home about.
