Inglewhite is a small village about 8 miles from Preston, positioned between the Forest of Bowland and the moorland around Beacon Fell. Adamsons Barn sits on the edge of this quiet settlement—a detached conversion with its own enclosed garden, patio and hot tub for six. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for four cars on site and a bike store if you're planning to explore the network of trails in the surrounding countryside.
Inside are four bedrooms across two floors: two on the ground floor (one kingsize, one with twin beds and bi-fold doors onto the garden) and two upstairs (a super kingsize and twin beds sharing a shower room). Two bathrooms serve the property. The ground floor has a kitchen with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and tumble dryer, a dining area, and a spacious living room with a 75-inch smart TV. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog stays free. Note that there are three steps within the garden, and an unfenced pond lies 30 yards away on the owners' side of the boundary. No smoking inside.
Beacon Fell Country Park, just 4 miles away, offers orienteering courses and views across the Forest of Bowland, with mountain biking and walking routes available. The surrounding lanes are quiet enough for families to cycle or walk, and Preston itself is within easy reach for shops and restaurants.

We have just got back from celebrating my birthday and family Father’s Day here. It is just so lovely and spacious extremely clean and lots of extras provided eggs, bread, butter, biscuits etc. The hot tub is great and checked daily by the owner, Dressing gowns and slippers provided hand soap but no shampoo or body wash so make sure you have it with you but everything else you might need is available. We needed disabled facilities and it’s got a bedroom next to the bathroom plenty of room for a wheelchair just a step up at each entrance. The garden is enclosed so perfect for dogs. We just wanted a quiet break away from it all and this house was perfect. Ideal location in the countryside.

Halfway through our holiday and the limited reviews I could see were great...but wow they have exceeded my expectations! Got here to find toilet rolls, clingfilm, towels, robes, dog treats, biscuits, chocolate, wine, eggs, bread, butter, coffee, sugar, tea, cooking oil, salt, pepper, jams, slippers, kitchen roll, cooking foil ( I've probably missed some). On top of that there is everything you could think of that you'd need....sieves, trays, pizza cutter....you name it, literally everything. It's immaculately clean, beds so comfy, owners friendly and check hotel tub and yet not in the slightest invasive. Good quality washing machine, tumbler, oven, microwave, toaster etc. Garden is so lovely and very pet friendly. Hot tub absolutely lush. My personal favourite is the lovely huge bathtub in a big bathroom! Blackpool nearby as is Preston (Where we had a lovely shopping trip). Outdoor toys available for kids (dominoes was our fave), scrabble for indoors which we used way too much! Honestly I could go on forever...love this place!!! In fact booked already for next year!
