About Barton Manor Hotel and Spa BW Signature Collection
Barton Manor Hotel and Spa BW Signature Collection occupies a substantial, manor-style building on Garstang Road in Preston, the kind of grand old frame that lends itself naturally to a spa hotel. The scale of the place is evident throughout, from the lift serving its floors to the gardens outside and the meeting rooms and business services that make it as suited to work as to leisure.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, with accessible rooms also available, and drinks can be brought straight to your door. Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, plus a breakfast buffet that's a particular highlight, and kids' meals are catered for too. The spa and sauna, indoor swimming pool and gym form the heart of the hotel's facilities, and staff are generally attentive and friendly, though service can occasionally feel a little slow at busier times.
Free on-site parking makes arriving straightforward, and there's a concierge on hand for local recommendations. Nearby you'll find golf, fishing, pubs, restaurants and other entertainment, while the hotel itself also operates as a wedding venue for those planning something more permanent than a stay.

100% recommend! We really enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay an extra night. We have a 4-month-old baby, and they were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to stay in the same room to make everything easier for us as a family. They really think about the finer details — the welcome booklet was brilliant, with pictures and clear explanations of everything. I also loved the little milk fridge, the ice machine, and of course the Starbucks. There’s even a note to say that if you’ve forgotten anything like toothpaste, you can ring reception and they’ll sort it for you, which is such a thoughtful touch. The staff were very helpful whenever we had a request. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and quiet, and the spa is lovely and well maintained. Breakfast was a great buffet with plenty of choice, and the location is ideal. There’s also a fantastic pub across the road that I’d highly recommend. Overall, a brilliant stay and we’d definitely return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tanzi from reception was very helpful and managed to book a good package deal for a surprise night away for my wife and I's 1 year wedding anniversary. It was nice to drop into somewhere easily accessible on the way home from a busy weekend. The room in the new wing was brand new, spotless and the service throughout the stay was really friendly and genuinely felt welcoming. Value for money wise, booking a package was ideal as we got access to the leisure facilities (pool, sauna etc), a meal and prosecco. Despite a great room/stay and lovely staff, my only negative would be that the restaurant in the walled garden seemed a bit expensive for what it was. That said, the stay was overall great value for money, a genuinely pleasurable time away and I will definitely be coming back soon! Thanks

Fantastic last minute stay at Barton Manor. Wasn't able to get away on my actual 60th birthday due to work commitments and as hubby had a hospital appointment on the Saturday at Preston hospital we decided to make a night of it. Great choice. Lovely hotel. Great bedroom, spacious and comfy. Leisure facilities are great. Food was amazing. Already planning our next stay to include some treatments in the spa. All of the staff were smiling and helpful. Just wish we'd found it sooner

We attended a four course charity ball here and decided it would be best to stop over and enjoy the hotel as well as the event. After searching the Internet for best deals we actually ended up booking through the hotel website on the members deal as it was by far the best deal. We booked a room in "The Clubhouse" which is a seperate building at the front of the hotel which has about six well appointed rooms. The beauty of the clubhouse is it was exceptionally quite and most of the rooms are on the ground floor, so no lifts. The en-suite was quite small, but perfectly adequate, with a walk-in shower. Everything is still fairly new, including the towels, which meant they were a little bit to fluffy, meaning my partner had to pick out bits of fluff from her hair, never had that little problem before. 😆. The breakfast was one of the best I've had for a long time. Quality products and hot, which you dont get very often nowadays with self service. The hash browns were the crispiest, hottest and best I'd ever tasted, so a massive tick for that. Service was good, attentive, but not overbearing. The view was good as the restaurant overlooks the gardens at the rear, though, due to the time of the year, there wasn't much growing and it looked like they were tidying things up before summer. We didn't try the Spa due to time limitations, but when we visit again, I'm sure we'll give it a whirl. The whole stay was over very quickly, but in the short time there we definitely knew we would revisit in the Summertime. A great hotel to use as a base for visiting the local highlights.
