Longdown Activity Farm

This is a fun fill day out for the kids they totally loved the place. you pay to get in there is lots for them to do we were able to feed goats calf's ducks and they were able to do this many times there was a tractor ride and little things for the to play on down by the park there were a number of trampolines they kids loved there there was amice café to get a hot drink we took a pack lunch but kids had ice-cream on the way out there is a gift and farm shop a nice few hours spent throe

Lovely fun little farm to visit the kids had so much fun feeding all the different animals they loved the ducks and they were allowed to go back and feed them as many times as they like. There was a massive play park to have fun and burn off all the energy bit of a hill to walk back up but nothing major. the ticket prices are good and if you have an access card you get the career ticket for free which again all helps we took a pack lunch but they have a lovely little café which we did get drinks and ice-cream in

I'm not going to lie but it is pricey. But if you factor in the price of food, bedding, vet bills ect for all the animals it makes sense. We went when it was stupidly hot so didn't spend as long as we should have and all the animals were as hot and bothered as we were. The staff are absoloutly amazing and so friendly and are happy to chat about the animals. The animals are very lovely (my children loved handling the chick's and the calves loved us all) plenty of places to wash hands. One thing that stands out the most is bringing a disabled child. Luckily my son is light enough to be changed on a changing table. However longdown has a massive accessibility toilet it includes a hoist a bed all with plenty of room and that's something you rarely see! So that's a huge plus. The play area is so much fun as is the tractor ride. Parking is pretty good

Highly recommend this place to take the kids anytime of year. Really reasonable entry price for the family. Lots to keep the kids entertained. My girls really enjoyed feeding the ducks, the goats and the loved the animal encounter where they got to hold and stroke 3 day old chics. Really friendly polite and helpful staff. Good amount of parking and Great choice of food in the farm shop even if your just passing its worth a visit. Loads of local produce. Thank you for a great time as always
