Had a night at Cossiwild camp site on a bike packing trip. Called ahead to check availability and Harry was very helpful and informative. For our trip we had everything we needed. It is aimed at being sustainable and low impact to the environment, well maintained , no frills but if you are looking to keep things simple and environmentally friendly it is very good. Local pub is just a few is just a few minutes walk away, which was nice, after a day in the saddle.

Such an amazing campsite. The kids absolutely loved it. What a treat having an outdoor pool, trampoline and rope swing. The nature and horses so special. We had a great time and will return. Harry the owner and his wife also very friendly and helpful

Harry is a fantastic host - sending through plenty of instructions and information in advance. Campers should be aware that the facilities are pretty basic - composting toilets and cold showers - but if that doesn't bother you and you like getting back to nature then it's a fantastic setting. Harry generously shares his ornate garden, which is simply stunning - a bit like having your own botanical garden - and also his own swimming pool, which was thoroughly enjoyed by us all. A lovely spot and we'll definitely return. Thanks Harry.

Booked for a single night, the owner supplied what.three.words location which made finding this beautiful site very easy. Compost toilet and drinking water tap available, we were also sent some great local suggestions for walks and the like, all within 5 minutes. The field is full of buttercups, surrounded by tall trees (including a particularly beautiful willow tree) so there was very little wind or light pollution. Where we camped was in shade in the early morning so no overheating as you wake up. Would definitely recommend a stay here, I’ve camped all over the UK and Europe and it’s a really charming wild camp feeling but with amenities, definitely a site on the up.
