About Flexistay Leicester Gable Aparthotel

With a kitchen in every room and drinks provided, Flexistay Leicester Gable Aparthotel is set up for guests who want to eat and drink on their own schedule rather than rely on a hotel restaurant. A grocery store and takeaway sit nearby on London Road, making it easy to stock the kitchen or order in after a day out, and a pub or bar and separate restaurant are also within reach for anyone wanting to eat out.

Rooms are apartment-style with flexible living space, en-suite bathrooms and options for families and accessible access. Practical extras include free WiFi, 24 hour reception, luggage storage and a laundry service, useful for longer stays or business trips into Leicester. Staff are noted for being helpful, though some rooms have shown wear and could do with repair, so it's worth bearing that in mind when booking.

The London Road location puts golf and entertainment venues within easy distance, alongside the food and drink options already on the doorstep. It suits travellers after self-catering flexibility in the city centre rather than a traditional hotel stay.

Very unhelpful, rude check in. Room was freezing no window (except a small ceiling window) the bathroom was dirty. The smell in the stairwell and room was disgusting. I booked 2 nights but left the next morning. I tried to cancel/ get some refund but nothing. Advert says free parking but only for 3 cars, had to park on a residential street. Would not recommend

Flexistay does exactly what it says on the tin, nothing fancy, just a straightforward stopover for a solid night’s sleep. Parking is a bit of a lottery, with only three spots, so get in early or be prepared to find a space off-street nearby (not too bad if you look around). Rooms are decent for the price, some have windows, some just a skylight, so you might feel a bit boxed in, but honestly, it’s fine for a night or two. If you want a simple, affordable stay and don’t expect luxury, it does the trick.

Great location alongside to the co-op on London Street if that helps! Could have had a few touches added and things repaired. I'd stay again, but I would not pay £88 for it again. At that price the bedside lamp wouldn't have been smashed, the toilet roll holder, wouldn't be screwed on one side only, the toilet wouldn't be stained inside, the waterfall shower wouldn't have bits missing, and the walls wouldn't be full of black scuff marks... at £40 I'd be ok with it. However that was just one room, and others could have been miles better. The staff were very responsive and helpful when the remote didn't work and we needed more towels. Polite and courteous. Location was handy ama only a mile and a half from uni digs. No pubs within walking distance, unless a 30 minute trek is to your liking! I have a bad knee, but I was driving so it wasn't a problem. The co-op and takeaway which share the building, was very handy for extra coffee and milk.
