The Love Nest

The Love Nest is a ground-floor converted stable sleeping two, with everything on one level. The open-plan interior combines living and dining space around a wood-burning stove, a kitchenette with gas cooking, and a bedroom with an ensuite shower. Garden views run through the space, and a private sitting area opens onto the grounds. Pets are welcome at no extra charge and can use the garden; one car can park on site. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with the initial fuel for the stove.

The property sits in open farmland in South Kesteven, ringed by quiet lanes and footpaths that cross rolling fields and ancient woodland. The surrounding area suits long walks and cycle rides, with miles of countryside to explore. Stamford, a market town built from honey-coloured stone, lies a short drive away—close enough for days browsing independent shops, cafés and restaurants, or visiting Burghley House. The setting itself is notably dark at night, with stars visible overhead from the garden. Note that there are two steps within the garden itself, and smoking is not permitted.
