About Evans Hotel

Breakfast is included at Evans Hotel, a Victorian property on Charlton Street in Llandudno, and there's a bar and games room for evenings when guests would rather stay in than head out. The restaurant covers other meals, and free WiFi and luggage storage take care of the practical side of things.

Rooms are simple and unfussy rather than lavish, which suits the hotel's straightforward, comfortable character. There's a garden for some outdoor space, and free on-site parking, useful given Llandudno's position as a base for exploring the North Wales coast and Snowdonia.

The hotel's setting in Llandudno puts the town's seafront and shops within reach, while the wider Conwy coastline and the mountains of Snowdonia make for good day trips. It's a no-frills option for those who want a comfortable bed, a proper breakfast, and a base to explore from.

Owner/ manager laid the law down before we got off the coach and continued in same mode for duration of holiday. Far too many rules considering we were actually paying for being there Unimpressed by evening meals and less impressed by the half a slice of bread on offer. Breakfast was good though. Rooms were clean but dated and need more powerpoints. Staff generally helpful but my husband did ask one why she was being so nasty to everyone. Interesting approach to bar service- flags in a vase were the only way to get a drink! Entertainment pretty decent but don't make the mistake of putting a chair on the dance floor- owner doesn't like it! Even bingo had rules. Had brilliant company thankfully and driver was great, but I'd never go there again!

Spending 4 days in this hotel on a coach trip with Edwards, taking my elderly mother away for a few days...and so far it has been really nice. Cant fault the food, good choice and nice and hot too. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. There is a lift which is great, our room is small, but clean and we are looking out the back of the hotel which isnt particularly good but it has everything we need. Our room lady is super friendly and helpful.... nice to see real people again

This is the second time I have brought a coach party to this Excellent hotel, Peter and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, everywhere was clean and good homely cooked food. Entertainment was very good especially on Sunday night had us all in stitches. Definitely will come back and stay when in Llandudno you should do the same.
