About Rose Tor Hotel

Rose Tor Hotel suits visitors after a no-fuss stay in the centre of Llandudno, rather than those chasing polish or modern design. It's a good fit for couples or older travellers who value a friendly welcome and a proper breakfast over slick decor, and for anyone using the town as a launchpad for walking, cycling or golf in the surrounding area.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in-room, and while the staff are consistently described as helpful and the atmosphere has its own character, some rooms show their age rather than feeling freshly refurbished. A bar and outdoor seating area give guests somewhere to unwind on site, and 24 hour reception means arrivals and queries are covered at any hour.

Breakfast is a particular strength, with a wide and generous selection to set guests up for the day. Beyond the hotel, Llandudno offers walking and cycling routes, watersports, fishing and golf nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach. It's a place built around comfort and location rather than luxury.

Great location. Didn't feel like we were welcomed. Breakfast was good. Rooms are really tired. We had no shelves to put any toiletries on just holes where a shelf had been and the same with the toilet roll holder. There were odd taps on the washbasin, one lever tap and the other a turning tap. The wardrobe door wouldn't shut. However the room was clean. Don't think we would go back

Booked a Friday night stay last minute Jane went above & beyond to help over the phone. We arrived Friday met by Gabriel who again did everything he could to help . Came back to hotel in the evening for a drink bar service excellent great music & kept us entertained. Breakfast was lovely buffet style everything you wanted 😋.It was lovely. We even mithered Gabriel to fit us in for an extra night 😀 but was fully booked. Lovely atmosphere very friendly wil definitely return. Thanks
