What guests say
Hotel is clean and in a fantastic location, we stayed over with friends this weekend. Sandy couldn’t have been more hospitable she was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were welcoming, the breakfast was lovely. The room we had was on the second floor and it was absolutely lovely, comfy bed and pillows, tea coffee, toiletries were provided and our room was tended to every day and restocked. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to stay again xx

Lovely two night stay at the Seaclyffe. We have been visiting Llandudno on our golf trips for 20 years and this is the best accommodation we have had in that time. Sandy (owner) and her daughter Nadine made us very welcome. Clean, comfortable rooms, great location and a couple of nice lounges. Great breakfast in the airy dining room. Needless to say we have booked again for 2025.

I had booked two nights in this hotel, as I was visiting a good friend who lives in Llandudno. When I arrived on Friday evening, Sandy , the lady whose hotel it is, was extremely welcoming and friendly, and insisted upon carrying my rather heavy case to my room! although I had only paid for a single room, I was given a lovely double room with its own bathroom, and I was delighted to see a Bath! So many hotels don’t have these anymore, and I do like to wallow! Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean, I just couldn’t fault it. I explained that my friend was coming round and that she was bringing fish and chips, and would it be alright if we ate them in my room? Sandy insisted that we actually use the rather pretty conservatory and even provided us with cutlery! Later in the evening, she was very happy to bring us a tray of tea and biscuits, and she did the same when we came back with my friend’s son the next evening. The hotel is in a beautiful building, and the reception rooms are sympathetically decorated to fit in with the era. We were the only people who used them, I think other guests had gone out for the evening, so it was wonderful. The reason I have given just 4 stars to the room, is simply because the bathroom was is not the usual white suite that you see nowadays, but pale pink as was popular sometime ago. But it did not bother me one bit! You do have to find a parking place in the surrounding streets, but I was very lucky to find one very near the hotel, and the car stayed there the whole time – everything in Llandudno can be done by foot. The breakfast was included in the price and extremely acceptable. I’m not a great one for cooked breakfast, but I could see that there was a good one on offer. And the staff serving this were also extremely friendly and helpful. So thank you very much to Sandy and all your staff and I really hope that we get to see you again !

Shabby but not chic is the best way I can describe this B&B - it is definitely NOT a hotel. The facade of the hotel is well presented with pot plants and modern garden furniture. But once inside you are greeted with house clearance furniture and 1980s carpet and decor. Our tiny room was clean as was the rather large bathroom which contained a white wash basin white toilet and pink bath with shower over. The tiles around the bath (two rows) were also pink many of which were broken. The light above sink ( with electric point) did not work and the shelf under the mirror was loosely fitted and everything fell off it. Once closed the bathroom door was very difficult to open. Windows and frames were rotten so windows difficult to close. This b&b is unsuitable for people with mobility problems there are many steep stairs. Entry to breakfast room is by an extremely steep staircase with badly worn carpet. The seaclyffe also advertise a bar and entertainment however they omitted to tell us when booking(or checking in) that the bar is presently closed and entertainment suspended. We were never given a house information sheet advising breakfast times fire procedures checking out times etc. Thankfully we only booked for three nights so we could see our son who lives nearby so only used the hotel to sleep and bathe we will find an alternative next time.
