What guests say
We needed a one night stay to break up a long journey. We made a last minute enquiry by phone. We were warmly welcomed and booked into a perfect room. The location was great for eating out locally in the evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning breakfast. We thought the hotel offered tremendous value for money and would certainly recommend it. The lack of on site parking could be an issue but getting overnight parking nearby was not a problem.

Lovely hotel and staff. We parked down the road from the hotel as there was no parking there. It only cost £4 for the day - so perfect! Check in was very simple and easy, did have to wait, but it was a busy Saturday night. The room was wonderful, clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Even though the hotel is on a 'main road' there was no noise that disturbed our stay. We booked and had dinner in the hotel too, which was very reasonably priced and great service. Breakfast in the morning, which was included in our rate was a great way to start our day. Would happily stay again and suggest to other to too!

Just LOVED our stay! My friend and I just returned from a fab stay at The Bridge End Hotel. We only stayed for one night, I had a double, my friend the family room. Both were clean, well appointed & recently refurbished. The bed was SOOOOO comfy, mattress & pillows were like sleeping on a cloud! The shower room was clean & plenty of hot water. We had walked the tow path from Chirk, over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (the main reason for the trip) I had heavily researched dog friendly stays & this, 8 bedroom, recently refurbished hotel was at the top of our list. We had dinner in the bar, great value & tasty! Staff were fantastic (2 meals for £25) and then breakfast (I’m veggie) was delicious! Staff were super friendly, easy going & helpful. I had such a great time & will return with hubby later this year. Loved my river view room, thank you for a fabulous time. P.S Spend time walking to Plas Newydd & the castle on the hill behind the hotel, it all made for an amazing 24hrs in this idyllic spot.
