What visitors say
We had a gorgeous time at the Butterfly house. The views on the drive in were spectacular! We were pleasantly surprised when we got there to find a huge green space for our two children (6 and 3) to run around after a long drive! There's a visitor centre to grab drinks and food which is very well priced (under £5 for a pizza twist, drink and crisps). On to the butterfly house itself! The staff were, welcoming, super friendly and answered all of our questions. The butterflies are amazing, there are SO many. Lots of different kinds of butterflies that are happy to land on you. This isn't just a typical butterfly house, it's a true experience!

What a lovely little find on our holiday in mid-Wales. The lady on the till was very knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly and answered lots of questions. The butterfly house was stocked with lovely colourful tropical plants and butterflies. It was lovely that they encouraged you to carefully handle/feed them too as a lot of places don't allow it. Special mention to Chris (who's been there 3 years) he was just fabulous at his job , and again very welcoming and knowledgeable, happy to chat about the plants and butterflies. Refreshing to visit an attraction where the staff actually genuinely enjoy their job and it shows with their interactions with customers. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again if in the area ,but Norfolk is a long way to come from !!

A real gem, not huge but utterly magical as the name suggests. Staff really friendly and informative. Really fun trying to identify the butterflies from the guide, and there are so many. The delight of them landing in you is just as wonderful the tenth time as the first. Lovely scenic setting too with the reservoir across the road. Fabulous visit. Well worth the admission.

Such an amazing place! Staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, taking time to share extra detail when answering questions. Very warm and humid inside (as expected) but you can leave and re enter as often as you want on that day. The stunning butterflies are free flying around you and there is a caterpillar area too. Well worth a visit!

They also highlight the friendly, knowledgeable staff who encourage interaction and provide helpful information. Guests mention the reasonable entry fee, which supports conservation, and appreciate the option to re-enter throughout the day.
