About 205 Earls Court Rooms
205 Earls Court Rooms is a straightforward, adults-only guesthouse on Earls Court Road, offering en-suite accommodation with 24 hour reception for anyone arriving at odd hours. It's a no-frills base rather than a destination in itself, aimed at travellers who mainly need a bed and a bathroom within reach of central London.
Rooms come with their own en-suite bathroom and drinks available in-room, and there's a kitchen on site. This is budget accommodation, and it should be judged on those terms: it suits guests prioritising location and price over polish or extensive amenities.
Earls Court Road itself has pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries close by, so there's no shortage of places to eat or drink nearby, and the wider area gives easy access to central London's transport links and attractions. It's a practical option for those wanting a simple stopover rather than a full hotel experience.

Absolute scam We booked this a couple days in advance as a last minute option due to previous bookings cancelling. I thought it would be alright due to decent booking.com reviews but after I had already paid I saw reviews on here and Tripadvisor talking about how it was a scam. However it was too late so we decided to go ahead. At first all was fine, they messaged us with some details including the outdoor code and asked for our estimated time of arrival. I kept them updated on the day of travel and told them when we were 45 minutes away. This is when I noticed they had deleted the codes that we were meant to have to access our room. I check about 10 minutes later to see if they have responded and find that all the previous messages have been deleted. I message asking if everything is alright and I get no response, the message doesn’t even send which is when I knew I had been blocked. I tried to get in contact with booking.com but the process was so slow. Luckily a friend let us stay with them otherwise I genuinely don’t know what we would have done as booking.com was slow and we were getting no responses from the property owner (I also messaged them on booking.com). Booking.com later said that the owners said we had never checked in. I think the reviews on booking.com aren’t that bad because no one who got scammed like this can write a review on there due to the property owners cancelling our booking as we ‘didn’t show up’. This place should really be shut down it’s a disgrace.

We stayed here as a couple for two nights and were unfortunately very disappointed with our experience. Firstly, there is no reception, so all communication is handled via WhatsApp. Upon arrival, we had to wait to receive our room number and access code via text, which was frustrating and not the smooth check-in process we had hoped for. At first glance the room was well decorated but cleanliness was a major concern. When we pulled back the duvet, we found several hairs and even dried mucus on the sheets — something we found completely unacceptable. The shower was also in a poor state: the shower head was hanging from the ceiling and appeared dirty and unmaintained (picture provided), to the point that we chose not to use it. We ended up showering at a nearby hotel where friends were staying. In addition, the room was missing several basic amenities. There was no hand towel, shower mat, or even shampoo, conditioner, or body wash provided. We messaged on the first day requesting a hand towel and shower mat and received a response promising they would be delivered — but they never arrived. We also noticed the mugs and spoons provided appeared to have been used and not properly cleaned. We stayed in Room 2, which faces a main road. Unfortunately, the windows do little to block out traffic noise, and the curtains were partially detached from the rail, offering minimal privacy or light control. Overall, this property failed to meet basic expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, and service. Based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here.

This place is an absolute scam. Still waiting on Bookings.com for a refund. Have NO IDEA how they rate so high on bookings. I had my brother and my nephew turn up after clear whatsapp comms to no answer. They turned up at 8.30pm and silence from all contacts on whatsapp and even the entry videos deleted. He and my 13 year old nephew left on the street. They even cancelled the booking and treated as a no show and took the money for the 3 nights booked. Cancelled the whole 3. I called them 100 times and messaged 100 times even the next day to no reply. They should be removed from Bookings. Why cancel all 3 nights not just one. Why not even the next day reply or communicate. They cancel it and take another booking to double dip. I hardly write reviews but these guys need to be removed from Bookings and other platforms. Shocking to leave people and a kid on the street at night!!!! I would check both Google and Booking website reviews always. Do not rely on one l have learnt.

Terrible hotel. We were given a tiny attic room. The room was incredibly dirty; we killed three cockroaches that were crawling around the room. The first night, we noticed that the blanket was stained, but they didn't change it. We repeatedly requested clean towels, toilet paper, and a hairdryer, but none of these were provided throughout our stay. The owners ignored our requests even when we contacted them via WhatsApp, because there is no reception or customer service, either in the morning or in the evening. On our last morning, the alarm went off throughout the hotel, and even then, no one came to help us. This is a disgusting hotel.
