About Ambassadors Hotel
Collingham Road sits in the heart of Earls Court, one of London's well-connected residential pockets, and Ambassadors Hotel occupies a spot here with easy reach of the city's transport network and surrounding streets of shops, pubs and restaurants. It's a practical base for exploring the capital without needing to stray far from the local area.
The hotel has 150 rooms, kept modern and straightforward, each with free WiFi, air conditioning and drinks available in-room. There's a restaurant and bar on site, alongside a gym, spa and sauna, an indoor swimming pool, and a garden for some outdoor space away from the street. Breakfast is served daily, and concierge staff and luggage storage are on hand for guests passing through. The on-site restaurant is functional rather than a destination in its own right, so those wanting more variety have plenty of choice nearby.
Free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward, while the surrounding streets offer entertainment, bars and eateries within easy walking distance. The hotel also operates as a wedding venue, and a lift serves all floors. It's a no-frills option suited to guests who want a comfortable room and a convenient London address rather than a lavish stay.

I walked past this hotel recently and encountered what I would describe as antisocial behaviour taking place directly outside the entrance on the pedestrian pavement. There were groups of men standing outside smoking and drinking, who were staring and making catcalling remarks as I walked past. This made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. As a result, I now try to avoid walking along this street altogether. I hope the hotel management can take steps to monitor activity outside the premises to ensure that pedestrians feel safe when passing by.

For 2 nights at £300 in the Ambassadors Hotel, I was given a small room with no chair, but a small stool, and a tiny table cluttered with coffee maker and tray of cups etc. I could not work in the room and I could not relax, apart from lying on the bed. The shower and toilet became bunged up during use. The sink was tiny and I could hardly fit into the alcove it was fitted into. The continental breakfast facilities were excellent. The staff were mostly stiff and formal- only one demonstrated any sense of warmth or welcome. I recommend avoiding this place, since value for money, I give it 1 out of 10.

Even though they messed up our reservations from a basement triple room into to separate double bedrooms we were still please with staff and the cleanliness of the rooms in general. Although I did find a spot of blood on my bed sheets with grossed me out a little but that it wasn’t much to complain about. The bathroom was good and clean, and was expected to be seen, the shower was working perfectly without any problems balancing the water temperature. The breakfast was as good as expected including an English Breakfast and etc. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay at if you are on a budget with close proximity to Kensington and Central London.

Had some difficulty booking in due to multiple room mix-ups. They staff were polite and very helpful however which certainly helped a lot. The rooms were quite small (double) and of a mixed quality. One of our rooms had air conditioning and was very comfortable but the other did not and was uncomfortably hot the entire stay (there was a desktop fan which helped a little bit was very noisy) Rooms were generally well cared for otherwise with clean bedding and decent facilities. Breakfast was quite good with plenty of choice and quantity. There can be a 15-20 minute wait however if you head down straight away. Location wise it was very good for local pubs (can strongly recommend the checkmate bar around the corner) and earls court. In summary a bit of a mixed bag, with staff, breakfast and location as positives and waits and possible room conditions as negative.
