What guests say
Misleading and unhelpful. The room was easily 35°C, resulting in the worst possible night's sleep. The website prominently features photos of air-conditioned rooms. Yet, when we got to ours, we were greeted by a tiny notice stating the AC wasn't "installed and working yet." There was no warning on the website and no heads-up in any of our emails (despite it being the hottest week of the year). It feels purposely deceptive - why advertise photos of an amenity that doesn't actually exist? "Not a showstopper" you might think. "Just open the window and turn on a fan." Wrong. We opened the window to its absolute maximum, but not a whisper of air came through. What did come through was the deafening noise of a busy road packed with revving cars and motorbikes. As for the "fan" they provided? You could literally blow more air yourself than this thing pushed out (and no, I'm not kidding). Desperate, I asked the night receptionist/security guard for a spare fan. I received a blunt and entirely unhelpful, "No, nothing I can do." The kicker? He delivered this line while lying on a sofa, parked directly in front of his own portable air-con unit. Honestly, you couldn't write it. I am certain the hotel wasn't fully booked, yet absolutely no effort was made to move us to a cooler room or even grab a spare fan from an empty one. One to remember but for all the wrong reasons.

Great hotel, all new and refurbished, nicely decorated with a lot of personality, the staff is really welcoming. The rooms and bathroom are small, but we were expecting it and they are well laid out, so it's not a problem.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Great location . Don't know the name of the staff but she helped me keep my parents critical medications in a refrigerator, which was an emergency . Thank you so much for this . Truly grateful .

There is no air conditioning; the photos are misleading, as they suggest it exists—there are even reviews claiming the A/C is good, but that’s a lie. There is a sign in the room stating the A/C would be working by June; it is now nearly the end of July, and it still doesn't work. The room is unbearably hot—impossible to sleep in—and the window barely opens. The building was designed to trap heat; it feels like an oven, and since the sun rises at 5:00 AM, there is no chance to rest. The manager is rude and unhelpful. Horrible.
