About Belvedere Hotel

Belvedere Hotel occupies a row of townhouses on Norfolk Square in Greater London, with 39 rooms spread across the building. It has the period proportions typical of this kind of square-facing conversion, updated with modern comforts including air conditioning and free WiFi throughout.

Guests have access to a restaurant and breakfast on site, along with a garden, gym, and a spa and sauna for anyone wanting to unwind after a day out. There's a lift for getting between floors, plus meeting rooms and business services for those travelling with work in mind, and the hotel can also host weddings. Free on-site parking is available, which is a rare find this close to central London.

The location puts guests within easy reach of public transport, with pubs, restaurants and other eateries all nearby, and entertainment options close at hand too. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the hotel is generally seen as good value for the area, though some rooms run on the smaller side.

Budget hotel right next to Praed street and Paddington station. I was there in a heatwave and the room didn't have a fan or AC, but that's pretty normal for the country as a whole. Maybe having fans available would be my only suggestion. Overall though, I'd recommend it.

Fantastic location, buses just a few metres away and Paddington station a short walk (fine with luggage). There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and stores nearby. I've stayed here twice and the staff a great. The room I went for was smaller but that's what I booked and expected, it had what I needed, and was comfortable and warm in the winter months. They have an excellent value breakfast, the only thing to note for people with mobility issues would be no elevator and steeper steps if you're on a top floor. Will stay here again on my next visit!

The place was okay, good shower and bathroom. The biggest issue was there was only two outlets across your bed so it’s inconvenient. Also no microwave or mini fridge. It’s not too far from the station or the bus stop but it’s not close to many great attractions.

The pros of this hotel is the location. Room was located in the basement level and I’m not sure they should be letting this room as it is in a state of complete disrepair with marks on the walls, window does not fully open. As others have mentioned, the room also shakes with the underground operating beneath. The TV had no TV guide and had to go through each channel to see what was available. I booked in February and paid $237.00 CDN which was not cheap. Expected a lot better quality. I’d have asked to move but I was only there for one night since I missed my connecting flight from Canada and they would not refund me when my agent explained the situation. Try to get a room on an upper floor as those must be the photos of those rooms and not the basement.
