easyHotel Paddington

Stayed there for 4 nights and everything lived up to the expectations. The bed was comfortable, AC worked wonderfully which was great during the heatwave, the bedroom and bathroom were small but worked great for me and my friend since we stayed out exploring most of the day. The room was clean and the staff was exceptional, every single one was very welcoming and genuinely helpful. Will definitely be back again next time I travel to London.

bed bugs! bed bugs! bed bugs! 1. Bed Bugs The room was not clean and had bed bugs. I was bitten and developed skin irritation. I informed the front desk and was moved to another room. I was assured that the new room was clean, however it still had bed bugs and I continued to get bitten. 2. Blocked Drain The bathroom drainage system was blocked. During showering, the water did not drain properly and pooled in the bathroom. 3. A Lack of Response Due to the bed bug issue and resulting health concerns, I requested an early checkout and a refund. However, every attempt to resolve this issue was met with the response that “the manager is not available.” Over the course of more than a week, I repeatedly tried to contact the hotel. Either I was unable to reach anyone, or when I did, I was told the manager was not available and no one could approve the refund. 4. Poor WIFI If you stay in a room on the left side of Level 3, the Wi-Fi signal is very poor and often not strong enough for basic browsing or even a simple Google search. The rooms on the right side of the floor have a much better and more stable Wi-Fi connection.

Spectacular location: easyHotel Paddington is in a quiet and respectful neighborhood, just steps from Hyde Park and with excellent public transport connections. Now, with the buses, you can get everywhere even better than by the tube, and so many buses arrive because it’s right next to Paddington train station. Perfect if you want to explore London on foot or move quickly around the city. The service was wonderful: we were greeted by a young lady who was attentive the entire time, constantly offering help and solving any issues. Initially, we were given a room a bit tight for two people, we mentioned it, and the next day they gave us exactly what we needed. Impeccable attention to detail and willingness to help—wish everyone worked like this. Keep in mind that this is a hostel designed just for sleeping: ideal for resting and going out to visit the city, not for spending time inside. Everything is very clean, new, and well maintained. In short: excellent if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a great location to explore London. A big thank you to the hostel and especially to the young lady for her personal attention—it really made our stay much better!

Tiny room but clean. Was fine for us but others may struggle getting in/out of the shower or climbing out of the bed as its against the wall on one side. The location was perfect and the Air-conditioning made the summer nights comfortable. Staff were very friendly.
