About Best Western Buckingham Palace Rd

Victoria is one of London's best-connected corners, with its mainline and Underground station putting Buckingham Palace and the Westminster sights within easy reach on foot. Best Western Buckingham Palace Rd sits among the terraced streets of this area, just off St. Georges Drive, offering 118 rooms across six floors with a lift for those who'd rather skip the stairs.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, plus family rooms for those travelling with children. Breakfast is available, and there are meeting rooms and a wedding venue on site for those with more than a bed in mind. Some rooms are on the smaller side, and the proximity to the railway means a degree of train noise can filter through, worth bearing in mind for light sleepers.

There's no parking at the hotel, but with pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby, and entertainment within walking distance, a car is hardly necessary. Luggage storage is available for those making the most of a short stay before heading off to explore the rest of the city.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review – Best Western Buckingham Palace Hotel We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Buckingham Palace Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London. I stayed with my elderly mum, who is 89 years old and walks with a walking stick. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The kindness and support we received made our stay even more special and gave us real peace of mind. We loved the complimentary upgrade to a spacious family room. It was immaculate, peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for travelling with my elderly mum. Fantastic location close to Victoria Coach Station and Victoria Train Station, with excellent transport links and easy access to London’s attractions and local amenities. Outstanding service from everyone, with special recognition to Rosen. His kindness, compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay unforgettable. He treated my elderly mum with genuine care and respect, and because of him, we felt safe, comfortable, and truly looked after. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations. The combination of excellent accommodation, a fantastic location, and truly exceptional customer service made this one of our best hotel experiences. We will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend the Best Western Buckingham Palace Hotel to family and friends.

After reading reviews on trust pilot I was a little concerned before my stay but it was excellent. There was a small amount of noise from the underground but most hotels in Central London are located near or above a station of some kind. The usual hotel room door banging was more significant! Rooms were small but perfectly formed. Plenty of storage and super clean. Complimentary tea and coffee in reception and an ice machine too for refills for your water bottle. Staff couldn't do enough for you to make your stay comfortable so if you find you do have a problem, speak to them first rather than leave a rubbish review once you have left! Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it but the location is fantastic, few minutes walk to Victoria Station. Would definitely stay again 😊

The gentleman that took care of us in reception was friendly and polite. Our room was ready 1 hour before check-in time which was very welcomed after a long flight. Check-in was quick. The small reception desk is open 24/7. Adjacent, is the breakfast area which is extremely small. There is instant coffee, decaffinated tea, Earl Grey tea and water available 24/7. Our room was in another building just a few steps away and reception took my suitcase up to our room once we arrived there. Do be extremely careful going up and down the staircase as the tread is narrow and the riser is high. When the staircase turns to the other direction the steps are only half diagonal. I requested an iron and it was brought to the room along with the ironing board. The air condition is very good but the room is quite small. There was a luggage stand in the closet and the only other place to put the other suitcase was under the desk. The shower was nice and spacious. There was a small shelf above the sink in the bathroom and a deep drawer under the sink which was nice to tuck things away. I had to keep the button on the hair dryer depressed for it to work which was quite tiring. Also after just a few minutes on high setting, it overheated and turned off. There were numerous plugs around the room and there was a safe in the closet. I requested a quiet room and it was decent. Even though I can still hear the trains it was quiet but I could hear the people upstairs walking and the noise from next door. Check out what super easy... Just drop the key card in a mailbox! It is good value for the money in London. Besides beings small, I like to the room. It's just that the building itself is a bit worn. It is a short walk to Victoria Station through Victoria Place. I was apprehensive booking a room after reading some of the reviews, but decided to take a chance and make specific requests. I would book here again if I know I was getting a similar room.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Victoria station and bus stops. The hotel itself is clean and presentable. The staff are excellent. They were welcoming from the minute we arrived. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and gave us tips on the surrounding area and places to go. I traveled with my elderly mother in a wheelchair and all the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating in regard to our room and accessibility needs. (Especially the gentleman who showed us to our room and helped with the wheelchair and our luggage) They made our 2 night stay in the city very easy and enjoyable. Thank you! The only downside of the hotel is that you can hear the trains at Victoria from 5am to 11pm. But I guess the bonus is being located so close to the station.
