About Jubilee

Eccleston Square is one of those leafy, gated squares tucked behind Victoria, and Jubilee occupies a spot on it that feels calm despite being minutes from one of London's busiest stations. The garden square outside gives the address a residential, almost villagey feel, while the surrounding streets connect quickly to central London's main sights.

Inside, Jubilee has 24 rooms, kept clean and quiet, with tea and coffee facilities provided as standard. Reception operates around the clock, so arrivals and queries are covered whatever the hour. There's no in-house restaurant, but pubs, bars and eateries are all close by, along with entertainment options for evenings out.

The location is the property's strongest card: Victoria Station is within walking distance, useful for onward travel, and Buckingham Palace is also an easy walk. Staff are consistently noted for being helpful and welcoming, making it a straightforward base for exploring central London on foot.

Pros: Extremely reasonably priced and located in a BEAUTIFUL area. Central to Victoria coach (3 -5 min walk), as well as Victoria train (10 -12 min walk) stations. Tons of restaurants, and grocery stores all within 5 - 12 min walking distance. Hotel staff are so warm and welcoming, and the ladies who clean the rooms do a very good job! Our room was also very spacious and there was coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in our rooms every day, no matter how much we'd used the day before. Cons: Our room was located on the basement level, and unfortunately, there is a distinct smell down there, due to the shared bathrooms that are also down there. And although they were able to supply us with many large bath towels, and hand towels, they didn't have any actual wash cloths, so be prepared to either buy your own, or bring your own.

A surprisingly excellent find very close to London Victoria bus station in a quiet area. The staff were extremely helpful, the hotel was quiet and the room benefitted from an extremely comfortable bed. It was of adequate size and the lighting was good if you intend the room to double as a workspace. Towels were luxurious and very soft, something not often found in hotels at this price point. Easy access to Belgravia, supermarkets and places to eat. Overall a very enjoyable experience. I only awarded 4 stars to an otherwise excellent room, as the shower could have benefitted from a bit of a makeover, the grouting between tiles was missing in quite a few places and the water saving shower head provided a slightly lacklustre flow of water, which if you’re paying for a room I think should be slightly better. However, a small negative and I would stay again and recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at the Jubilee Hotel Victoria. The staff was very friendly and the hotel and room was very clean! They did forget to clean the room after the first night but mistakes can happen and the guy at the receptionist helped us out by giving fresh towels and collecting the old ones. The location is also very good, naar Victoria station and in the area are some nice restaurants. The musical theater for Wicked is near the Victoria station so easy acces.
